In the event NWESD must cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances, the full registration fee will be refunded. Refunds will be made by check and may take up to 30 days to process after a refund is approved. If requested in writing more than two business days prior to the event, registration fees may be transferred to another person or to another currently scheduled event at no additional cost.Įxceptions to this policy may only be made by written request to the NWESD Superintendent. (Purchase orders will be invoiced for the full amount.) Registrations canceled two or less business days prior to event are non-refundable regardless of payment type. As a courtesy to the facilitator, written notice of intent not to attend is appreciated. If the registration fee is $25 or less, the fee is forfeited if attendance is canceled. Registration cancellations and refund requests submitted in writing more than two business days prior to the event are refundable subject to a $20 administrative fee. Submission of your registration acknowledges acceptance of these terms.

As a faith-based community, we have an opportunity to partner a church and/or business with each school, reading to children one-on-one, while supporting educators as they help children to learn and grow. With over 250 elementary schools located in the Greater Austin area, the need to reach every child is tremendous. With the program growing rapidly and with more children in need of extra support, there’s a place for you to make a difference in a child’s education and life. Today, more than 1,246 volunteers are serving at least 2,845 students in 12 school districts across Central Texas, by sitting with elementary children each week for 30 minutes to read one-on-one. In 2010-11, we began reading with students at 1 elementary school in Leander ISD. The Expo included final student presentations, judging, a tour of.
